This hotel is a hidden gem located in a bustling shopping area with plenty of convenient amenities nearby. You'll find a post office, restaurants, and even a shopping mall just minutes away from the hotel. the location couldn't be more perfect for exploring the city, and the subway station is easily accessible for further adventures. the rooms are clean and quiet, and the staff, although their English is limited, are friendly and accommodating. Plus, the affordable rates make it a great value for budget-conscious travelers.

One could dine at restaurants such as quanjude roast duck 10 minutes away. Characterful base for a city trip in Beijing! We appreciated the fact that we chose oriental. Sensible prices and modem internet access in the rooms.
Nothing for me.

During our romantic escape at this hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by the incredible value for money it offered. The room rates were very affordable, allowing us to enjoy a comfortable stay without breaking the bank. the location of the hotel was ideal for us. It was conveniently situated within walking distance of Tiananmen Square, a great shopping mall, and numerous dining options. This made it easy for us to explore the city and indulge in some retail therapy and delicious meals.
While there were many positive aspects of our stay, there were a couple of things that we didn't particularly like. the staff's limited English proficiency made communication a bit challenging at times.

The location is good. It is between Dongdan and Wangfujing subways. The room is clean and comfortable.
I don't like the escalator (which links to the offices above) between the reception and my room. Many outsiders can get into the rooms. Hotel should install an electronic device at the entrance to the separated rooms. Guest can use their room cardkeys to open the mainentrance. This willgivemore feel of security.

location is excellent. 3 mins. walk to Malls at Oriental Plaza and 5 mins. walk to Wangfujing pedestrian street where shopping and eating outlets are plenty. Next to hotel there is a clean eating place where food is good and prices cheap.
bathroom is small and the floor is flooded after shower. It takes at least 3 mins for water to drain off. Slippers are provided for in the bathroom to offset problem I assume

This place is a great choice for visiting Wangfujing Mall and exploring the area, with a bus stop just a 15-minute walk away.

Good hotel on a budget. Only two blocks from WanFuJing Street. Taxi took us right to hotel so it was easy to find. One street off of the main drag to Tian Anmen Square. Subway is just 6 min walk away to line 1 Wanfujing station. You could arrive by subway and walk with your roller suitcase. Beds are hard. Coffee Shop with western breakfast across the street from hotel. We were a party of ten and had a good experience with this hotel on a low budget. This hotel has the basics and is clean. I recommend it.

When I checked in, there was no power in the plug outlets. I called the staff and they set it right immediately by calling the service guy who changed some fuse etc.
Staff do not speak English - so it was very difficult for me to get any directions to places I wanted to see etc.

Good location near Forbidden City, shops and subway station.
Lack of hot water in bathroom. Transparent wall beetween room and bathroom.

Easy access to two subway lines, walking distance to the Forbidden City, lots of eating options available nearby.
Seems there is some kind of plumbing for the building that runs through large pipes in the bathroom. Doubt this is every room but was in my room, no attempt was made to insulate them and at times it was quite annoying.

PERFECT location for sightseeing Beijing. Less than a minute walking from the subway station. Bread talk and McDonalds are only 100 meters away for your morning coffee with danish. The nice new Wanfujing mall and shopping street are just around the corner with all shopping you want. A tiny convenience store right next to the hotel is open till 2 am to buy your daily water, coke, beer, etc. My room was not very big but clean and quiet. The mattress was super hard though.
Staff does not speak much english but they do their best to understand and help you.
